For established residential epoxy and garage-floor-coating contractors with real project proof and room for more estimates.
A feasibility-first Google Search pilot for residential floor-coating companies
Find out whether Google Search fits your market—then build an owned path to booked estimates.
The Owned Estimate Pipeline Pilot combines a local feasibility review, service-matched landing experience, client-owned Search campaign, call and form tracking, inquiry alerts, and reporting through qualified booked estimates.
See what your market produced and where each inquiry went—without buying resold leads, signing a long contract, or calling every phone call a win.
Built for established residential coating contractors. Not for businesses without project proof, response coverage, media budget, or near-term capacity.

The real problem
A phone call is not a booked estimate—and a booked estimate is not automatically a profitable job.
It is reasonable to question a report that ends at clicks, forms, or calls. You need to know whether the homeowner was local, wanted work you offer, met your project minimum, got a timely response, and booked an estimate.
Search intent: were they looking for a contractor or a DIY product?
Ad and geography fit: were the query and location relevant?
Service-page proof: did the page show the right work and service area?
Call or form: did a real homeowner make contact?
Response and qualification: did someone respond and check fit?
Booked estimate: did the inquiry become an appointment?
Sold work: was the job won, and what did the full path cost?
A breakdown at any stage can look like “bad leads” or disappear inside a top-line contact count. The pilot follows the path farther.
A useful additional channel
Referrals work because trust arrives before the phone call.
Good work, reviews, and referrals are the foundation. Paid Search should not replace a referral engine that already fills profitable capacity. The useful question is whether high-intent Search can supplement referrals when you have room—and whether it can be measured honestly.
The pilot brings the trust signals that help referrals convert—real projects, relevant reviews, a clear service fit, and a direct response path—to homeowners already searching for a coating contractor.
Buying “leads” versus testing an owned path to the estimate calendar.
The opaque way
Buy shared leads or launch broad ads.
Send every visitor to a generic page.
Count calls and forms as success.
Lose track of response, fit, and booking.
Keep paying because a dashboard looks active—or stop without knowing what failed.
End state: More contacts to chase, with no dependable account of what became a real opportunity.
The controlled pilot
Check local demand, economics, readiness, and budget.
Target agreed residential coating searches and locations.
Match the page to the service with real project proof.
Route and classify every call or form.
Follow qualified opportunities through booked estimate.
Continue, change, or stop based on the observed pipeline.
End state: An owned system and a clearer decision—even if the right decision is not to keep spending.
This process improves visibility and execution. It does not guarantee demand, appointment volume, sales, or profit.
Stage 1 · Five business days
First, determine whether this market and business are ready for the test.
Before building the campaign, we assess the conditions that can make or break it.
Local demand
Relevant homeowner searches, auction conditions, service-area limits, and DIY/product ambiguity.
Project economics
Priority service, job minimum, gross contribution assumptions, and a responsible test media level.
Proof
Genuine reviews, usable completed-project images, process details, warranty language, and service-specific credibility.
Response coverage
Who receives inquiries, coverage hours, missed-call handling, and the booking path.
Capacity
Room to quote and install additional work within the next 30 days.
Measurement
Ability to mark inquiries qualified or unqualified, booked or not booked, and eventually sold or lost.
You receive a written go, conditional go, or no-go decision, the reasoning, and the proposed service, keyword, geography, exclusion, and minimum-media scope. If the facts do not support a responsible launch, you receive a short remediation list instead of an implementation sale.
How the system works
One connected path from high-intent search to a documented estimate outcome.
01 · Capture local demand
Separate contractor-intent searches such as epoxy flooring contractor, garage floor coating, garage floor epoxy installer, and only services genuinely offered. Start with exact and phrase match, presence-based geography, and search-term review. Exclude irrelevant DIY, product, supply, employment, training, and unsupported commercial traffic.
02 · Match the service
Send visitors to a mobile-first page with the right surface, process, service area, real work, reviews, expectations, and estimate path.
03 · Route inquiries
Connect calls and forms to tested alerts and the agreed response owner. Automation supports routing; it does not replace a useful human response.
04 · Define quality
Agree in writing on fit criteria such as location, requested service, project type, homeowner status, timing, and job minimum.
05 · Follow the outcome
Track contact through qualified opportunity to booked estimate, and later sold or lost when you provide the disposition.
06 · Make the next decision
At the end of the first 30 live days, decide whether to continue, revise the economics or scope, or stop.
Market research is directional. National Google Keyword Planner research shows homeowner searches for terms such as “epoxy flooring contractor near me” and “garage floor coating near me.” Local availability and auction economics vary, so the pilot begins with local research. National averages are not your local opportunity forecast.

Launch timing: within 14 business days of the Complete Input Date—the date all required access, assets, approvals, business details, billing, and consent language are supplied. Client delays, platform review or suspension, force majeure, and requested scope changes affect the deadline as defined in the agreement.
The written scope must specify page count, platform, hosting term, revision count, maintenance boundaries, optimization cadence, support allowance, and change limits. A full custom website is not implied.
Ownership and transparency
Know what you own before the first ad runs.

A report can record an observed source path; it cannot by itself prove that every inquiry or sale was incremental. The working report can include requested service, exclusion reason, media cost and total cost including the service fee.
Fit and non-fit
This pilot works only when the business is ready to use it.
Good fit
Primarily sells residential epoxy, polyaspartic, or garage-floor-coating projects directly to homeowners.
Has at least 10 genuine reviews and 15 usable completed-project photos.
Knows its service area, preferred projects, and minimum viable job.
Has estimate and installation capacity in the next 30 days.
Can respond promptly during agreed coverage hours.
Will track qualification, booking, and eventual sale status.
Can fund the locally recommended Google media budget.
Wants an additional owned channel, not a replacement for referrals.
Not a fit
Brand-new business without project proof or reviews.
Primarily commercial or GC-bid work.
Already at profitable capacity.
No reliable inquiry-response coverage.
Unknown job economics or no viable project minimum.
Unwilling to record inquiry dispositions.
Cannot fund the minimum useful media test.
Requires guaranteed appointments, sold jobs, revenue, or profit.
Proof should answer what happened—not just show that a campaign existed.
Until permissioned pilot evidence exists, show only verifiable founder experience, account ownership and direct billing walkthroughs, the tracking acceptance checklist, a sample report labeled “example,” documented research methods, and written definitions of lead, qualified opportunity, booked estimate, and sold job.
No empty testimonial cards, invented review counts, fabricated logos, unnamed revenue screenshots, or stock-photo “clients.” Future case studies should include dates, spend and fees, invalid inquiries, qualified projects, bookings, sales, zeroes, definitions, operational changes, customer permission, and attribution limits.
Offer and pricing
One bounded launch. Then a decision based on what the pilot actually produced.
The Owned Estimate Pipeline Pilot
$2,500 one time
Five-business-day feasibility and readiness assessment
Agreed landing experience
Client-owned Google Search setup
Keyword, negative-keyword, location, ad, and asset structure
Call and form tracking, inquiry alerts, and disposition workflow
First 30 live days of campaign management
End-of-pilot source-to-booked-estimate review
Written ownership and exit schedule
Google media is additional and paid directly by you to Google. The local minimum is disclosed during feasibility. If that level is not responsible for your business, the campaign does not launch.
Optional ongoing management · $500/month
Month-to-month, beginning only if both parties choose to continue. Scope and cadence are defined in writing.
The value is structural: one coordinated build joins the landing experience, campaign, tracking, alerts, and reporting; spend is visible in your own account; and the pilot leaves you with an owned system even if the decision is to stop. No “one job pays for it” claim or invented savings.
Clean Launch Guarantee
The guarantee covers what the agency controls.
Once the Complete Input Date is confirmed, the agreed landing experience, client-owned Search campaign, call/form tracking, lead alerts, and disposition report will be built and tested within 14 business days. If an agency-controlled item is not delivered by then and is not cured within five business days after written notice, the client may cancel, receive a refund of the $2,500 service fee, and keep the completed transferable assets listed in the agreement.
Google media already spent is not refundable by the agency. The deadline excludes client delays, missing inputs, platform suspension or review, force majeure, and requested scope changes. Definitions, asset limits, notice, cure, refund timing, privacy, recording, SMS, data, and territory terms follow the signed agreement and require professional legal/compliance review before publication. No lead-count, appointment, job, revenue, or profit guarantee is made.
Common questions before a test
A few fair objections.
“I tried Google Ads and it did not work.”
Prior failure can come from demand, queries, geography, page match, response, qualification, booking, estimating, follow-up, or economics. Feasibility checks whether another test is justified.
“I already get referrals.”
Good. This does not replace them. If they already fill profitable capacity, waiting may be the right decision.
“I do not want shared leads.”
Inquiries captured through the system route to you and are not resold by the agency. Homeowners remain free to compare contractors.
“Five leads could all be junk.”
Correct. Five raw contacts are not the standard. Fit is defined, exclusion reasons are recorded, and appropriate inquiries are followed through booked estimate.
“Why do I need another website?”
You may not. The current site is reviewed first and used or improved if it supports service match, proof, mobile, contact, and tracking.
“Can you guarantee jobs?”
No. Homeowner choice, demand, auction, response, pricing, estimate quality, close rate, margin, capacity, and fulfillment are outside agency control.
Frequently asked questions
Details that should be clear before you apply.
Who is the pilot for?
Established residential epoxy and garage-floor-coating contractors with project proof, response coverage, known economics, media budget, and capacity for additional estimates.
What happens during the first five business days?
We review service area, search opportunity, auction context, priority services, exclusions, readiness, economics, proof, response process, capacity, and measurement. You receive a go, conditional-go, or no-go decision and proposed scope.
What counts as a qualified inquiry or booked estimate?
The criteria are agreed before launch. Qualification should address service area, service, residential project fit, job minimum, timing, decision-maker status, and exclusions. A voicemail, spam call, wrong number, or unsupported project does not automatically count as a booked estimate.
How much should I spend on Google Ads?
There is no universal amount. The minimum viable test budget is based on your service area, priority services, auction conditions, expected click range, economics, and test duration. Media is separate from the service fee and paid directly to Google.
Are inquiries exclusive?
The agency does not sell or route an inquiry to another contractor. A homeowner may still research or contact other companies.
Do I need a new website?
Not necessarily. The current site is evaluated first. The pilot includes only the agreed landing experience required to support the campaign.
Who responds to inquiries?
You or your designated coverage resource. Alerts and workflow are included; sales calls, estimating, closing, and an after-hours receptionist are not included unless separately contracted.
Who owns the assets?
The written schedule defines ownership asset by asset, including Ads access and billing, domain/site assets, tracking components, data export, licenses, and transition terms.
What happens after the first 30 live days?
Review search behavior, spend, inquiry validity, qualification, booking, operational leakage, and available sold/lost outcomes. Both parties can continue at $500/month, revise scope/economics, or stop.
What is not included?
Google media, sales calls, estimating, job follow-up, closing, GBP/local SEO, review management, Meta, LSA, YouTube, direct mail, CRM replacement, complex integrations, commercial bid generation, and receptionist services unless separately written.
Readiness application
See whether the pilot fits your market, economics, and current capacity.
This is a fit check, not an instant purchase. We review the market, service, proof, capacity, and measurement information before discussing the next step. No payment is requested here.

What would make the pilot worthwhile and what happened with prior providers
The live application form, consent wording, notifications, response timeframe, source-parameter capture, and submission confirmation must be connected to the approved intake process before this page is published. Do not route applicants to the existing script checkout.
No guaranteed-job pitch. No long-term contract. If the initial facts show the pilot is not sensible, we will say so.
Do not buy another lead source until you know what happens between the search and the estimate.
If your coating company has proof, response coverage, workable economics, and room for more estimates, the pilot gives you a controlled way to test local Search. If those conditions are missing, fix them before forcing a campaign.
